    AK74 underfolder?

Ok so I have a bulgarian ak74 polymer furniture. I was gonna buy the tantal from akbuilder but since all I shoot is corrosive "and I love it" I decided against a non chrome lined barrel.
So then I started looking into other avenues of something cool.
Well I just bought an uf with trunion about a week ago just to have I looked at it then looked at my bulgy ak74 against the wall and thought to myself. That would be cool a bulgy uf. So I googled ak74 uf and came up with very little.
Do you guys think this would be cool and practical? Im gonna lock the underfolder until I move out of state. "no crappy barrel extensions for me." Lol
Have any of you ever done one before? If so how do you like it?

I'm not an AK person by any means, but of all the stocks I've tried the underfolder was by far the worst ones ever. Zero cheek weld, zero comfortability, zero stability/wobbly but super evil. They seem to have a following somehow. I'd suggest finding a Calgunner with one and trying it out. That aside, Nodakspud just came out with an UFing 74 receiver, the NDS-2UF.

Thanks for the input bud. Ive shot uf'ers and they dont bother me too bad.
also dont know if you ever shot an amd65 but I have one and all I can say its a love/hate relationship lol. I like it cause its cool but I hate it cause its awkward. I keep it for collecting reasons.
The ak74 underfolder cant disappoint me much cause my last bulgy build is my favorite rifle ive ever owned. So the bulgy uf is just an excuse to get another rifle.

You do know the barrel extension doesn't have to be anything permenent, a bayonet will meet the requirement. How are you planning to secure the UF stock so it will not fold? What'll be easier to to remove once you do get to free america?

A bayonet will put me long enough to keep it a folder?i thought a brake had to be pinned n welded? Heck I may keep it a folder then.

No, there is no permenence required for the overall length, your thinking of the federal requirement to meet the 16" barrel length. Hell you don'r even have to pin your stock, just don't ever fold it. If any LEO folds that stock, he just manufacturered an AW and should be arrested for a felony violation of...

12276.1. (a) Notwithstanding Section 12276, "assault weapon" shall also mean any of the following:
                (3) A semiautomatic, centerfire rifle that has an overall length of less than 30 inches.

Hey man, it was over 30" when he took possession of that gun..........and committed a felony.

only has to be permanently attached if the barrel is less than 16"

Take the time and READ THE LAWS, make sure you understand them fully. It's only your arse you might end up saving.

See everyone explained it that the stocks werent allowed to be foldable cause of ca laws. So basicall as long as I dont ever fold the stocks I can legally leave the stocks unfixed.

I will advise you to only push that as far as your comfortable with. There is an easy way to pin the stock that is reversable in about 10 seconds. I know the laws and I know the LEO game.
I've informed quite a few LEO's that in fact they are felons for some of the stuff they've told me about. The looks on their faces is classic, then the next question is "Are you a lawyer" Nope, just an informed citizen, now your business card officer, I may need a get out of jail free card.
