I like the 0001. You could probably convince most people that it was the first AK ever made.

I'm assuming the serial number series started at AA 0001 through AA 9999 then AB 0001, etc. That would make this rifle the 20,000th rifle made in 1980.

Remember the good old days when Nodakspud/DCI would allow you to custom select your serial number on the receiver. I just added "AK47-" and then the serial number on the bolt and trunions so they match. I was toying with adding the prefix "FUQATF" in front, but there wasn't enough space.
