AR mag release problems

[LTP90]

I built a TM lower with DPMS Lower kit and a bullet button.
I have a problem getting the mag to release on occasions. It seems that the mag release bar is hanging up or not pushing out straight parallel. It seems that when it doesn't push out straight it pushes out crooked and catches the front area of the but out. Also it seems that the bar does not retract fully unless I slam the magazine into the action.
is it possible that
A)I have a bur on either the receiver or or the bar
B)the spring in the bullet button is not strong enough
C) I installed something wrong?
D)some problem with the bullet button

Did you try screwing the bullet button nut in more? This happened to my ar. The concussion would back out the nut slowly and when using the bullet button to release magazine, the magazine catch would catch on outside of lower.
You can either use bullet button tool to screw in button more and tweak as needed.
Put a drop of blue loctite to prevent the nut backing out.
Or get a raddlock 2 position button. I went with this option.

the nut is as far as it can be screwed in.(I assume, if I screw it in any further the red screw driver starts to screw on, so I have used just the leading edge of the screw driver to tighten it down as far as it possible with the tool)

Screw driver tip doesn't get the nut down further.

Thats what i was refering to. The red 'screw driver' that comes with the bullet button. I screwed it down all the way using that untill the red button started to screw on as well(it's threaded for out of state use) and then held it slightly out so just the tips caught the button and screwed it on more. and the problem presists.

Hmmm.
When installing the bullet button, did push the magazine catch so it is release position then screw in the nut while doing so? Try that.

tried that, its screwed in all the way. Still seems that it wants to come out slightly crooked and doesn't want to push straight out. Also doesn't want to fully retract 100 % of the time without me slamming a magazine in.
I'm stump, maybe a bur on the reciever/bar? or poor spring?

Only thing I can think of is maybe you have bullet button end reversed?

little end faces in and big end faces out correct?

appreciate the help, I have to head up the Mt. for work for the next few days so won't be able to post a pic, but when I have my weekend I will post pics and try to fiddle with it some more.

Went to the local dealer that is extremely helpful(I buy lots of stuff from them, just because they are so nice and helpful, if maybe a little over prices), and of course it behavied perfectly there, get it home thinking all is well and with in 15 minutes it is back to its old tricks.

well it seemed to fix it self, it just needed to be shot haha.
I think the bur just got worked down.
