So, I have decided to build a PSL. Ordering the parts on Tuesday.

Once i have the receiver and parts kit, i will get to work demilling.

I see that AK builder has the rivets for this. What else do i need?

Anyone aware of an upcoming fresno or central valley build party?

I would go ahead and order your stuff now there having free shipping on there website. The rivets are about the only thing you going to need order separate. If I remember the psl doesn't fall under the 922 were you have to use American made parts so you can use all the parts that come in the kit. If you using the Romanian receiver the scope rail will be to big so it will have to be taken down either by hand or file.

I don't think there's anything in your area scheduled yet, but keep your eyes open. I'm pretty sure greasemonkey will get something set up before too long. The build parties we have up there are some of the best ever. They draw many of the best/most experienced builders on CG...and the redneck karaoke bar after parties are the shizzle.

i just built my psl on aug 29th. you will love it as far as what you need
1. Parts kit with barrel
2. Receiver: can go romanian receiver or nodak receiver
3. rivets: from ak-builder
4. replace the shepards hook with a fcg retainer plate
5.some vodka to Kristen your new build.

since the psl is considered a sporter with its stock you dont need to do 922r.
but on my psl i went with a red star dual stage trigger and a no dak receiver, if you want to use the stock furniture that came with the parts kit then you will need to use the Romanian style receiver. Be warned thoe the Romanian receiver will need a lot of attention for it to work flawlessly. Unlike the no-dak receiver. if your interesting in a nodak receiver give waffen works a call, they run about 100 plus shipping.
