    Need Help With Virgin barrel.

I just started building my romy ak, with the help from another member on this forum. However I need to have a virgin barrel cut, drilled and headspaced. I dont have the necessary tools or knowledge to do this. Does anyone know someone in the Susanville (Lassen County) area that can do this. Or somewhere remotely close? I wouldnt mind driving to redding, chico, oroville, shasta area to get it done either. Sacramento maybe if I have no other options.

    You could try Lassen College:

Quick question and it may seem dumb but id rather ask it then not and screw something up or blow a gun up in my hands.
Green mountain barrels offers two types of barrels for the romanian ak.
One for the 1970 version and one for the 1975 version, which one would be correct to get for a parts kit stamped 1974?

You need to measure the ID of the front sight block, gas block and rear sight block then match those numbers up with the dimensions shown for each barrel.

The 1970 version is the one profiled for Yugo rifles.
You need the one labeled 1975.
