80% Colfax Tactical lower now 99%!

Baker1184 and I spent a few hours on the mill today and came out with this beautiful lower. It is a Colfax Tactical lower using their jig as well. I am extremely pleased with how it turned out. All that is left is the trigger hole, and etching for my new pistol. Thanks again baker1184 for teaching me how to use the mill.

Looks great. Where did you get the 80% lower and would baker1184 let me use his mill to finish my lower? (for a fee of course)
If guns commit crimes then mine are defective.

Judging by the pics, you've got a little more to go than that. You shorted the fire control group pocket. It should be the same depth from the front, to behind the safety selector.
As it sits, you won't be able to insert a trigger.

im guessing that you said something like..."well that wasn't that hard" you might have jinxed yourself

but it looks good and it wont be hard to finish

Yep, I figured that out today and will need to go that area again. I also have another one to do.

              Baker1184,
Those two new end mills should be there on Wednesday.

                sounds good,

I found the proper drill and ream for the trigger/hammer pin holes in one of my boxes of tooling.

Cool that you got to experience it, but next time you need a sharper end mill and maybe more RPM, it doesn't look very sharp by the waves/ripple in the material...
                      Good job!
