10/30 INSERTS FROM Solar Tactical
Just got some of these today Want to make 10/30 AK74 mags from Mag rebuild kits. My question is does the end with the Bend on the insert go down towards the Floor plate or up? Do you have cut thes to fit? I inserted it in and was only able to get 6rounds in the Mag not 10. Also do you have to leave out the inner floor Plate that hooks to the mag spring on the bottom of need advice Thanks

I put them in with thebent end at the bottom. Otherwise it hangs up on the spring. For added "permanence", I drill the limiter through the pre existing hole on the back side of the mag and put in a pop rivet. The limiter may need trimming, it will block some mags to 7 rounds, some 9 or 10. Do this prior to riveting (obviously).PRO PELLE CUTEM
