Nothing. does any of you mauser experts live near the tracy area have time to look at it? I will definitely pay you if you can get it working or lead me in the direction of what to do to get it working my guess is no or broken firing pin.

http://www.surplusrifle.com/mausersw...mbly/index.asp Read and learn, then tear it all apart. If its in the bolt group you should be able to find it pretty easily. also check pin protrusion it should be about a much as the thickness as a dime. -

also...nothing as in "no go bang", or not even "click". If that's the case there may be a problem in the trigger and/or cocking piece. Everything on mauser rifles is REALLY simple. You should be able to figure it out in no time.sigpicOriginally posted by Dr. ElkyIf your a man who wears white sunglasses, your probably a douche bagOriginally posted by CSACANNONEERI've been know to cross dress and go the other way at certain events.Comment

so whats wrong with the pin...broken?
I'm assuming this is a small ring swedish mauser. Unless it's a custom. Here's your replacement firing pin.
*edit*....I guess it helps if I post the link huh?

also I just saw your other thread. Too bad they cut it up so bad. I have a nice Swedish model 96 made in 1907. It's one of the best shooting rifles I own.Last edited by tujungatoes; 08-18-2011, 5:41 PM.sigpicOriginally posted by Dr. ElkyIf your a man who wears white sunglasses, your probably a douche bagOriginally posted by CSACANNONEERI've been know to cross dress and go the other way at certain events.Comment

Did you completely disassemble the bolt? If not it's common for decades of grease to congeal and slow the firing pin to the point where it will not fire the primer. As said above are you sure you are using the proper ammo? The Swedish Mauser's were either the M/94, M/96 or the M/38. Each is dated above the chamber with it's year of production.
Can you post a photo of the receiver markings?Poke'm with a stick!
