A strap wrench should hold the tube tight enough so you could take the cap off. Try the 0.99 store.

Blue loctite on the threads of the screw, maybe a litlte heat on the screw will help. Also, put the lower on as far as you can, you might get some leverage that way.Last edited by rbetts; 08-13-2011, 6:19 PM.sigpic
