    Polish underfolder

In building my Polish UF a bend in the receiver has occurred following center support pin installation and heat treating.
Don't know what caused this, but need some advice how to "take out the bend".
The bend is to the left looking down on the receiver--it begins several inches forward of the rear trunnion.

trying to upload photo but cannot figure out Photobucket software.
I bring up the software, am registered, etc. but it does not respond when I key the "upload" button. Guess that I need help on that also.

Is it bent or curved like a banana?

If it is twisted, it probably happened when you heat treated the axis pin holes. I usually wait until I have the rails, center support, front and rear trunnions, and the trigger guard installed to heat treat my holes. With everything riveted together, you have the most rigid receiver possible and [hopefully] it will resist the urge to warp a little more.

As far as correcting this, all you can really do is put one end in a vice and twist it the opposite direction.
