I've just been thinking about that. The HK build their having in Oct peaked my interest. Those parts kits are far from cheap, though.

      HKP, HKPARTS, HK PARTS, HK, H&K, HECKLER, KOCH, HECKER&KOCH, MP5, SP5, MP5K, SP5K, G3, 91, VP9, P30, P30L, HK416, MR556, HK417, MR762

$2k for the Navy kit!! Still, I haven't heard great things about the clones. Most I've seen are just standard blow-back.

I'm not sure if I'd trust my tig welding skills on their $165 flat. They have a great deal on the HK91 flat, though. I think it's $70.

If you do this please post your experience. I'm at least a year away from having the free cash to try this but I'll get to this eventually.

I'm thinking this is what i might do, since 2k is very expensive but also an investment on an almost all hk mp5 gun i am going to buy the flat and weldments and attend the party to have the receiver at least completed. I certainly dont have the money to burn 2k right now but when i do ill be ready to complete the build.

ps if your thinking about it dont miss the build i been reading about completing the flats and they are very challenging and clones suck big ones too

I'd love to build an HK, but $1800 for a kit? OUCH!
