AK rear sight leaf removal?

I just figured it was a matter of getting the pin out (assuming its just pinned)

Anyone have any advice on this, I bought one of those top rails that pivot off the rear sight block. Last time I tried to pop the pin out I think I canted the leaf a little bit

Drill press is your friend with a 1/16 drill bit upside down, also a hammer and a punch or small screwdriver can be used as well.
