    Welded Today

This kit had the wrong rear stub so I have to mill a hole for the dust cover retainer.

Great job! That is awesome. Can't wait to get my kit. It's gonna be a bit until I get to work on it, but still.

Yeah, I was gonna use the repair piece I made yesterday for the apex kit but I was bored so I used it for the fixed stock kit I had.

Please, god... tell me those aren't your welds. I got wood just from looking at that. MY GOD. They're perfect.

The offer stands for welding instruction brother. You only need to plan a time with me.

Nice! I'm taking a welding tutorial on Wednesday. Can't wait to get going on some of my projects.

I'm on it. Just waiting for the jig to come back from the machine shop. Plud, I have to get a better welding table setup. I was welding on one workbench that has metric ****-ton of ammo in it. Not a good idea.

I also have to get some scrap metal and get to practicing before I even waste your time.

Live ammo, and welding = not a good idea

Get the scrap then call me. Better I give you instruction before you build bad habits than after.

Had some more tinker time today, so I coated the receiver and cleaned up the furniture a bit (not too much) Now I'm just waiting on parts
