    Barrel push tool

Just found out the person I was getting my barrel press tool from decided not to make them anymore. It was a real cool tool that allowed pushing the barrel out from a completed gun, as well as push against the barrel at the crown when pushing RSB/GB/RSB onto the barrel.

Is anyone here making something like it?, I did a search, but didnt see anything. I've used the AKB one, but its made for pushing from a demilled front trunion, when the trunion is mounted in the receiver, it doesn't work.

looking for something like this, that clears the extractor rail, fits up into the receiver and around the rear trunnion to allow downward force. Thanks in advance.

I've been looking for one of those too and haven't found anyone that makes them. It wouldn't be terrible hard to make one yourself though. I saw one tool, I think the owner is a member here, where he took an old .22LR barrel and cut it into two pieces and welded them together side by side and made a relief cut for the ejector.

Luckily, I own one already, but last night the akb nut on the end (brass) cracked and torn a thread, so tonight I will be taking part of the tip off and cleaning the threads so that it doesn't get worse, but I really got used to using it, so knowing that eventually no replacement. You right, now that I have too, maybe I look into it, maybe I can come up with something easy enough to duplicate and pass it along? Just hoping someone has already done it.

        Probably me....

I made this one out of an old .22 barrel. Just be sure to cut a slot for the ejector. Not pretty, but works like a charm. Use pennies for "gaskets" between the barrel and the tool.

Good god man that bird crap looks horrible. I've made a couple of these tools, I even had to make one for Saiga 12's when I'm chopping those down. I got some brass and just made slugs that drop into the breech/chamber area.
