    AR pistol issue

One of my AR pistols was messing up last week. It would fire a round, then dimple the next primer but not fire. charge it, fire, then the same thing. It started the day working fine. The ammo ran in everything else. The mags ran in everything else. The one thing i didnt do was try the upper out with another lower, didn't think of it.

Its a 10 inch ASA upper, with a shorty GSE buffer tube. always worked before. It was never picky with ammo. Any ideas? thanks

First you are chopping up historic vintage rifles and sticking them in cheap and nasty looking plastic "dildo" stocks that look like some kind of futuristic sex toy that gay space aliens stick up each other's butts.

Before I built mine up, I had read about similar issues and if you check the basic things.. BCG is lubed and the gas block system is straight and aligned and ammo works in other weapons and so do the mags then 2 others things I recall that can cause issues in AR pistols like this are (1) the BCG being to light and (2) the buffer tube/spring setup is to short and having to toy with different springs.

I have never had the issue, but to keep it from happening in my case I started right off with a little heavier BCG - one for a full auto - by LMT as it had a little more mass to it.

Sorry, not that helpful but just food for thought

those short GSE buffer tubes can be finicky.
