Will a glock barrel parkerize?

I have a customer that polished his Glock barrel, and wants it parkerized. Does anyone know offhand what type of steel they are made of, and if will parkerize or not?

It's not stainless so there should be no issues. You are going to plug the bore though aren't you? It doesn't sound like a good idea to add any roughness to the inside chamber or bore. Maybe you should also somehow cover the feed ramp to keep it from being parked.

Dab some cold blue on a polished spot it in a hiddedn area. If it blues, it will parkerize.
