I am looking for a universal AK mag follower that will fit all my mags. I have different kind and not sure where they originate from. Is there a follower that will fit most AK mags? How many country's made AK mags and what are the variations to them?

If I understand the question, they are already universal. As far as I have seen all of the 7.62x39 mm AK mag followers are dimensionally compatible. Take a Chinese mag follower from a MAK90 (with BHO feature) and stick it into a Bulgarian AK magazine and it fits and works just fine. Ditto for Yugoslavian (which also has BHO feature), Polish, Romanian, etc. they all interchange.
As for variations, the only variations of significance that I've already noted is some are designed with the follower so that it rises higher and is designed to catch the bolt when the magazine is empty. The other variations are largely superficial, such as whether the body is slap sided, how many grooves are stamped into it, steel vs. molded polymer, etc.
