    Polish UF

My rear trunnion of the Polish UF is a welded fabrication and was bent on arrival. I have straightened it and fitted the rivet holes with the recvr holes, but the three swivel device holes do not fully line up.
How much filing will this tolerate and not be sloppy loose?

An inproper trunnion to receiver UF hole alignment is very common in my experience. You want just enough clearance for the center shaft and both locking caps to slide through the stamped holes. Use a couple jeweler's files to remove the offending material. Do not use a drill bit to enlarge the holes or chances are the result will be a wobbly stock. Test frequently for fit and stop when the parts fit snug but not binding.

Also, take note of the proper orientation of the left locking cap. One pin hole pin is bigger than the other (usually has a stake mark on it) and should face up.
