I have a Remington 870 Tactical model # 81188 (example below):
and I tried to install the Tacstar Tactical Pistol Grip (example below):
and no matter what I do the grip buts up against the rear of the trigger guard assembly thus making a 1-2 centimeter gap between the grip and the trigger guard assembly and rear of the receiver. Now I attempted to put the grip on without disassembling the entire shotgun with no success then I installed the grip on the receiver without the trigger guard assembly in and it fit perfectly. When I tried to put trigger guard assembly in no matter how I tried the two pin holes were offset about 1-2 centimeters. Any ideas before I return the item would be greatly appreciated as I am not about the try to file down my trigger guard assembly to try to fit a 20 dollar handgrip. Thanks everyone!
