Polish Underfolder Safety Selector Lever Installation

Does anyone know how to properly install the selector lever on a Polish Underfolder? I've tried going counter clockwise but the rear trunnion rivets are in the way, unlike the Romy underfolders. Do I need to remove material from the lever where it is touching the disconnector? Here are some photos:

your going to need to grind a little material off the safety selector until it will move past the sear when you have the trigger pulled i have a pic for you i will have it up im a minute or two

Are you pulling the trigger at the same time, so that the discomnector moves forward a little bit? What type of FCG retaining system are you using? Yes, some minor trimming of the bottom of the selector may be required.

You can take the the axis pin on the trigger leave it in just remove it from one side of the receiver. Move the trigger forward swing selector lever down. reinstall trigger and axis pin. Worked for me.

Yes, I tried pulling the trigger and the lever does not clear the disconnector. I'm using one of those Red Star Arms retaining plates.

The problem with that is the retaining plate. The FCG axis pin cannot be removed when that plate is installed.

Problem solved. I only had to trim less than 1mm to get it to fit. Thanks for everyone's input.

Those are impressive pics.

Thanks! Believe it or not, the camera is a 6-7 year old Sony 5MP point and shoot digital camera. Still works great.
