    Glock question

I hope someone can help with this problem. Earlier today this clip fell out on to my counter as i was holding the stripped down frame of my glock 22. Is there any way it came out of the trigger/ trigger bar assembly? has anyone ever seen this clip/ spring in a glock before? The gun is a std. 3rd gen Glock 22.

    Help!!

That's not a Glock part. It may be something somebody wedged into it for some unknown reason, but that's not a factory part.

Here's a good picture that should help identify parts:

i have never seen this in any glock pistol before, i was thinking maybe in the trigger where the bar is pinned in place, as that is the only part i have never seen fully taken apart. It is a simple set up from what i can tell and there is just no place i can see that part belonging to. i just thought I'd ask to be certain.

Most likely someone wedged that spring up in the recess behind the mag well and it just now fell out.

Where did you buy the pistol?
