Double Barrel Disassembly

I recently acquired an N.R. Davis "Maximin" double barrel 16 ga. hammerless shotgun. It's in pretty sad shape, but I like it and would like to have the barrel and action parkerized. I hear they can be a can of worms to disassemble, so how much should it cost to have a gunsmith take it apart and re-assemble it when it's done?

you may get better and more accurate results if you survey the prices from your local gunsmiths.

I thought maybe some of the local gunsmiths hung out here. Gunsmithing forum and all.

It is highly unlikely that a gunsmith will quote you a price, or even a ballpark price, for a job which he cannot see. What you know and what a smith sees are two different things. Perhaps you could post some detailed pictures and a description of exactly what it is that you want done, still you will likely have to take it to a smith,

I want the action disassembled so I can have it parkerized, then re-assembled when finished. A photo of the assembled action wouldn't so much good. It would take an answer from someone who is familiar with older double-barrel actions.
