A noob or beginner forum would be great as well.....There are many FAQs that could be directed there so they don't end up in the regular forums...

That would be nice, but the very definition of a n00b or beginner would lead them to ignore that forum and do what they do anyways... -
Besides, a beginner forum would likely fall into the same problems as some of the other forums -- low traffic and ignored posts.
We already have so many forums that could be possible locations -- I can think of 3 places it would make sense to put any given post!
