    Help finding firing pin

I dissasembled my fathers Winchester Model 1894 to clean it for him and make sure everything was ok. He just got the gun and wanted to make sure it was ok to shoot. We looked up the serial number to find out when the gun was made and it came back as manufactured in 1902. After taking the bolt apart I found a broken firing pin. The pin looks different from the others I have seen online. It doesn't look like a pre 1964 pin or post 1964 pin. It looks like a two piece pin with a shoulder around the small front piece of the pin. I would like to know where I can find a replacement original style pin. Is the early style pin a two piece pin or did my pin just break to look like a two piece pin? Would the pre 1964 single piece pin work in the 1902 bolt? Thank you to anyone that can help me answer any of my Questions.

I have not seen a two piece pin -- Where is the pin "broken" ? It is common to repair broken pins by reworking the forward "pin" area, machining off the old pin point and silver soldering a new "point" in.
It is also not uncommon for the pin to break at the front narrow recess. A good welder could possibly weld this but chances of warpage are great.

1894's have a one piece firing pin, and a firing pin striker that is a separate piece mounted in the locking bolt. This is typical in the 94, 64, and 55 models. Yours may appear two-piece as it may have been broken for a good long while and still used, peening the broken ends. Quality replacements are available. Some big parts houses sell wax cast parts that may or may not work correctly, or for very long. Any new pin will most likely need fitting. Try Wisners for the best one made.

Recieved the firing pin sunday and it was very good quality and fit well in the gun. Will probably take my Dad out shooting next week to try it out.
              Thank you for the help.
