GLOCK EJECTOR QUESTION: Two glock 36's each have a different ejector

Just came back from a friends who showed off his new Glock 36. I was telling him about this glock frankenstien video on youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=awzPqE-Teh4). Immediately he caught on to the diffrences in the ejectors. His was straight and the one in the video was bent in fact on both of the guns in the video. Went home looked at mine and mine were straight as well.

Is this a mod or a factory improved/old style ejector that is bent? I've been wondering if the ejector has something to do with my shells hitting my forhead often >: | And if this is an improvement I may want to try the bent version unless I am missing something here...

Other suggestions for the brass bumping my forhead would be GREATLY APPRECIATED

Weird. My 19 is way closer to the straight one, but has a very small bend.

i think if the bend is closer toward the center it would eject more upward

but maybe the opposite is true

i only have the big glocks 17 and 21

WOW! Glad that was caught. Seems like the ejectors are based on caliber size. There are only three kinds for the glocks and he obviously had the wrong one according to the local shop. I was worried I had a older model or something so I guess the answer has been resolved.

My Gen3 G26 and Gen4 G19 are slightly curved, my G30 is bent like that of your G36. I believe it is caliber specific.

WTF, wow there seems to be no rhyme or reason to the extractors. LOL

Glock 30SF on the left and G19 on the right.
