From my limited exposure, US barrels are well made but the rifling is a bit lacking. Every non-US barrel I have seen has much better rifling, even the ones that are near "shot out".

If you want a shooter and are willing to take a chance on a barrel from Europe, (or Asia for that matter), chances are you will have better rifling in a used barrel.

Your mileage may vary, so just take it as my limited experience.

I have exclusively used Arms of America for my builds, and others who have built with me. I have had 2 oversized trunnions sent, and it's going on a month now getting those oversize barrels from them, but from what I understand, it's their chroming people that are holding it up. Otherwise, I have never had one with any issues whatsoever, just make sure you are clear on the phone or in the order with what you want. The people there are 99% fantastic, but once in awhile can get something mixed up.

I have only used one green mountain barrel and I love it, not chrome lined and its very accurate.

AofA or Green mountain. Perfect fitment an almost all builds. Cannot say that of Copes new line of $59 barrels.
