    S&W stuck after squib fire

So i was firing my first reloads ever and i must have neglected to charge a case because when i fired it, there was a barely audible pop and then my revolver locked up. I couldnt move or free the cylinder at all. Im assuming that the primer expelled the bullet and lodged it between the cylinder and the barrell.

Can i just stick a rod down the barrell and hammer that sucker out? please dont tell me i have to take it to a gunsmith

Rod and bang it out. Use a brass or wooden rod.

Yes you can hammer it out with a smooth rod, brass would be best but steel will work if that's all you have. It shouldn't take much of a hit to free it.
      where are my pistol mags?
