AK blueprint question.

I've seen blueprints online that give the location of the rivet holes on an AK-47.

My question is, Is the AK-74 similar enough to the 47 that one can use the specs on the blueprint to locate the rivet holes on the 74 receiver?

The best way to locate the rivet holes is with parts in hand. They're generally close, but will vary from kit to kit even within the same series or rifles.
