6.8 is almost the same size as a .270 Much larger in physical size compared to a .223

Yes, they are the same. You can actually use 556 mags and 6.8 ammo. You can only get 5-6 rounds in a 10 rounder, and about 12 in a 30. But they can get sticky.

Just thought I'd ask. I havent done a disassembly on my 5.56 mags and I have many. So, I was wondering if there are any outside dimensional differences and what the internal differences are other than the follower which is a given,for 6.8. Does anyone sell just the follower and a different...
