removing a stock

I have a colt ar-15 that has a 6 position collapsible stock. Before anyone asks... yes it is a registered AW. I want to remove the cheap stock and put a MOE stock on, but i can't figure out how to remove it. It only has 1 screw and I was about to remove it but don't want to wreck it. Here is a pic. thanks for any help
