BLASPHEMY!!!!! Attach a bayonet to the AK, and dig a hole in your backyard with the AK.
Throw the AK in the hole, using an old rusty rake to put it in the hole. Cover it back up. Dig it up in 6 month, hose it down, tie it to the back of your pick up truck with a chain. Drag it around the block, come back, rinse it off again, and lube it up. Then take it to the range and post a picture of it......

I think its a personal preference. Also depends on the actual rifles finish. If its just parked, then gloss would look too shiny on the park finish. If its alumahide semi, then gloss wouldn't look bad, but I prefer satin.
