Hi Guys,
I was trying to get the ogive measurement last night and pushed the bullet a bit harder than normal with my Hornady gauge. I take out the modified case and gauge and then give the rifle a few thumps and the bullet usually comes out, well not this time. So I look around for my long rod to get down the 26" barrel and I can't find it. So I take a wooden dowel that was laying around and try to use it to push the bullet out the chamber. Well that didn't work and I guess the dowel broke inside (ohh s***). I try to get the dowel out but it is stuck in the barrel as well, and I can't grab it now. I got a longer rod and try to hammer everything out but it seems the wooden dowel is now jammed on itself when it broke so everything is nice and tight about 1/2 down the barrel. I put some lube inside to try to soften things up and hopefully trying to force it out again.
Any good advice on how to get this stuff out of the barrel?
Thanks,
Roman
