    AR15 carbine GPU build question

This is my first piston unit so I figure it pays to ask....

I have a complete Addax GPU upper in 5.56 with 14.5" barrel & PWS Bulldog compensator.

I'm going to build the lower and I'd like to get opinions on the buffer assy.

Being a GPU, should I use a heavy buffer and/or spring?

    Thanks!

Use a mil-spec spring and try out the H-buffer (standard heavy buffer) with the various loads/ammo you are going to shoot.

We normally test all of our GPU's with lowers equipped with a H-buffer and shooting quality factory ammo like PMC Bronze .223

Give me a call if you have any questions.

      Thanks,
      Chris
