OK, I put you on the list. So, you'll get the PM updates a couple weeks before the party. If you need to fix it sooner, shoot me a PM, I have a few ideas. But, these build parties have been fun and informative for all so, even if your gun is fixed, you're still welcome to come up to hang out BBQ and learn a bit.NRA Certified Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun and Metallic Cartridge Reloading Instructor

Did it do this everytime? If you slammed the charging handle forward would it then feed? The carrier is a little far forward to be the typical problen with WASRS which is the bottom of the bolt carrier getting hung up on the hammer. I would take the bolt out of the carrier, cock the hammer back, and run the bolt between the rails. Run it all the way until the lugs engage the trunnion. If you can do it by hand easily with no resistance or hangups, then it's not a lower rail issue. Then take just the carrier without the bolt in it, no spring, and slide it in it's normal place of travel. If it slides easily without resistance, the u know the top rails are fine. Put them back together and try it again. At that spot, it could be the ejector tip snagging the side of the bolt in one of the slots, but it would have to be way messed up. Also, check and make sure there are no burs or debris in the channel where the tail of the bolt goes into the bolt carrier. If it's all gummed up or burred, it could be stopping the bolt from closing. That's all I can think of right now. If it closes when you force it, it's prob just one of those issues I mentioned above, which might just be some rail trimming or adjustment (mallet).
Real answer=find someone on this forum who lives near you. They can prob. do it 10 times faster than your run of the mill smith. A lot of them don't even work on AK's.BurninsomeComment

To the OP, first of what kind of ammo are you running? That looks like a HP mis feed. Also I have noticed on a few guns (Romy based "G" kits and WASRs) the slight chamfer around the chamber has been less then normal and can even choke on FMJ ammo. Easy fix with a die grinder and carbide burr.
Also check mag fit up, sometimes they'll fit a bit high and the bolt will jam into the round instead of feeding it into chamber.
Also take pics of the jam with the cover off so we can get a good look at what's going on in there. There are 3 kinds of people in this world.
The wise, learn from the mistakes of others.
The smart, learn from their own mistakes.
The others, well......they just never learn.

Deja vu all over again
My Wasr did the same thing. What I finally found out was that the magazine catch was too short. It lets the mag drop a bit and the bolt doesn't catch on the back of the case. Try shooting while holding the mag up tight to the frame. I found another catch and drilled out the old one and replaced. If you have any wiggle front and back that's probably your issue. You do not have to be crazy to hang out with me. I'll train you!Comment

try out a little test, remove the bolt carrier and insert a loaded magazine, feed the round with your finger (pushing from the rear of the round) does it get caught up on anything? or does it drop in perfectly into the chamber? it can also be the bolt having a hard time locking in the locking lugs.Comment

alright, tried that test. When pushing a round into the chamber the tip of the bullet would hit the bottom circled area in the picture, im not sure if this is normal or not? I dont know anything about AK'stry out a little test, remove the bolt carrier and insert a loaded magazine, feed the round with your finger (pushing from the rear of the round) does it get caught up on anything? or does it drop in perfectly into the chamber? it can also be the bolt having a hard time locking in the locking lugs.
