Stuck casing.

    Stuck casing.

    In my Savage .308 action. Didn't eject after opening the bolt and now I can't get it out... I've tried everything I have on hand, nothing is working also it is steel ammo if that makes a difference...

    Only thing I can think of is using something to punch out the primer and then pry it out but i dont want to damage anything.

      Is this a live round? If so you need to put the muzzle up some type of oil down it to kill the primer and powder. If its a fired round use a cleaning rod from the muzzle to try and push it out. Good luck.

          It has been fired. I tried to push it from the muzzle with a cleaning rod and it doesnt budge... It even bent the rod.
