Yeah, because he's in the Ukraine. He's also on Gunbroker and a couple other sites. Most people just don't want to deal with the hastle.
Edit: That came off real *****y (for lack of a better word). Sorry, I didn't mean it.quemadmodum gladius neminem occidit, occidentis telum est. - Lucius Annaeus

That's apparently a crap shoot. Some folks over on the CMP forum have been ordering some M1 parts from a chap in Greece. Some guys got their parts in about a month...a couple of the guys waited 2 months. Apparently timely shipping by the supplier was not the issue but rather a hold up in customs is the consensus.Comment

Whats with the "air-soft" description on some of the parts. It says "air-soft", yet some of the parts are still in cosmoline. Is this term used to get over some kind of no "real" gun part rule or something?Comment

uhhh I see. Some of those air soft muzzle breaks look tempting.

Great post, thanks. Excellent source from the looks of it.Comment

I have ordered several parts from him and typically they come as advertised, wrapped in original paper and cosmoline. They tend to take two to three weeks to get. I have never had an issue with his parts though.-There is a fine line between stupid and clever.Comment

I bid on a few small thing just to give it a go since he does have good feedback on ebay.
On a side note one of his parts lots looks the same as a parts lot from a seller under a different name.It is exactly the same and contains the same photos.Comment

You might consider checking out his web store instead of Ebay. I forgot to mention that's where I bought from Vladi. The shipping prices in his cart are much more reasonable than the Ebay shipping prices he quotes. All up for three pounds of product, I think I paid $12. Not bad for the slow plane from Eastern Europe. Some of his prices for small items are above average for the US market, but others more than make up for it. I almost felt like I was stealing from him when I placed my last order.
Keep the heavy rag paper sheets that some parts come wrapped in, they're a great moisture barrier. Between those and the freebies, the shipping may as well have been free. Also, make sure you know what you're looking at before you buy. The only complaints I've heard about were when the customer wasn't familiar with what they were seeing in the pictures and bought something other than what they were expecting.Comment
