Instead of sending the thing to timney, I'd rather just do it myself.
Ok, so the problem is that after the trigger has been pulled, the hammer is cocked back again, and I let up on the trigger for it to reset and... nothing. Forcibly push forward on the trigger sometimes and it resets, flip the safety on and back off then it resets.
So I take the upper off and cock the hammer back to take a look and see what's going on. Basically the disconnector sticks. When I let go to the trigger I can see the hammer make a very minute movement, but the disconnector is still clamped down on it. From the looks of it, I just need to screw in the set screw on the front of the disconnector 1/8-1/2 a turn until it can catch the hammer and actually let go when I let go of the trigger.
Now my problem is, that I cannot figure out what size hex screw is used for the disconnector set screw. The 1/16 is too big, and even the .050 I have is too big(and that's the smallest I have). Anyone have any idea, or can check? Google turns up nothing.
