AK 47 Build?

Im looking to start an AK build and wanted to know what parts I need to start collecting and were to buy them? Also any other info that may be useful.

Buy a Romy G matching numbers kit with original barrel. Its easier, and less work is involved. Then go to CSA's next Canyon Country Build Party. I assume it will be sometime in Feb/March. Then you go to www.ak-builder.com and order the following parts:


Ak-Builder AK Rivet set

An AK Builder Flat 1 Compliance part

An AK Center support

An American made Muzzle break 1 Compliance part

Tapco G2 trigger 3 Compliance Parts

The retaining plate Its not needed, but it will make your build easier.

Pistol grip 1 compliance part

Don't forget about your maglock unless you plan on going featureless.

The kit richi posted would be good for a first build, I you want to do a barel less kit you could probobly find a calgunner willing to help you set you headspace correctly before the build.
