So I had some spare time and decided to place the steps of my latest PSL build into a single doc, its very basic but gives the basic steps from the virgin blank to the finished product.
Maybe some will enjoy this and hopefully build their own

I've been putting off building my PSL because of lack of time and tools. The only thing I asked of the gods was for the existence of pictures and maybe some notes on a PSL build. Thanks Hephaestus... I mean Croc4!

you have the measurements for the hole placement, the blue prints that come with the blanks are alittle screwed up looking i think

Nice write up! Where did you get the blank and rails from? What other places offer PSL >.80%'s?

that looks like a cold steel solutions blank to me, looks just like mine but i could be wrong

Hey Guys,

Thanks for the kind words, I should go back and add a bit more beef to the tutorial, It was a bit of a rush job.

The blank is coldsteel as you have guessed, over all its seems to be ok, but without a second supplier to compare against, beggars can't be choosers ;-(

The hole template I used was/is

scroll down to the bottom and grab the files, there is a free viewer for them, over all they seem to be accurate, the only issue I have found is the large hole at the rear of the receiver (.4 dia) it needs to be moved further to the rear, this is based on the stocks I have and how they fit, it could be moved back ~3/16" or so, I haven't time to get a better measurement than that.

For the center support, I guesstimated it based on where it falls on a standard AK in comparison to the FCG holes.

Thank you, I've been looking for a PSL building write-up. I got the kit, got two receivers from CSS (I might screw one up), got all the compliance parts, just need to actually do it.
