I bought the reciever completely welded. So putting this thing together was easier than an AR build...really nothing to it at all.

That's how I felt. I'm not burned out on AK's...just need a break. My brother gave me an uzi smg kit awhile back and it sat in my garage. Nodak came out with these new receivers so I jumped on it. Built this one and now I have uzi receiver stubs from the smg kit and a repair channel to try and build a mini uzi! So that's my next project. Build up a mini uzi receiver and wait for striker assemblies to start popping up on the market...if it ever happens.
