    Center support woes

    Hey all,

what is the secret to not get the hour glass look when the center support is riveted?
I tend to always get a slight bend in the receiver after installing the center support, is this normal, or is there a secret to keeping the receiver straight?

Are you using tapco parts? I've never had this problem with unmolested AKBuilder CS's.

        Typical sign of overpressure.

Look for a nice and proper rivet head "expansion" and do not over press it.

I've had a few issues with the Yugo's center support bushings but in general, everything else out there (even Tapco's) are OK.
