Mini uzi

Can we legally own these here in CA if OAL, mag lock, 10 rnd are all met?
Can we build them?

I know they do CA legal full size Uzi carbines, you'd have to call and ask about their minis. If it is registered as a pistol, my understanding is that it has to be single shot due to the evil features and if it is a rifle, it has to have a pretty long barrel and stock to make the mini 31'.
If I've hit any of these wrong, please jump in and correct me.

Mini uzi (clone) in both pistol form and rifle form are already legal to own and have been in CA for a while now. The current issue with them is lack of recoil spring assembly and striker...no one is making them. You can build them.. cut up a full size receiver and reweld.

Ok...just like building AK pistols. If you build from a flat or in my case I would be welding up a cut up receiver to the proper mini uzi dimensions.
