    Khyber Pass RPK

My other thread was too old so it would not let me post an update.
Finished the look I was going for on my Khyber build. Still a few minor touches to complete the look but finished for the most part. Tell me what you think. Now all I need to do if find an Soviets 70s RPK sling.

Its a 1975 Romy RPK kit, I had the barrel cut down to 16 inches. I used a Yugo AK builder flat and welded and redrilled the rear for a triangle folder. 99 dollar knock off triangle folder and had the rear trunnion heat treated becuase it was too soft. I sanded the lower HG to match my real khyber in the first pic. Then refinished the wood to match also. topped it off with a few IZZY mags that are now 10/30. to finish the metal I blued the reciever with birchwood casey super cold blue and then rubbed everything down with emery sand paper 220 grit. It takes forever but worth the time spent. Here is the build thread.

I wanted to update it but it said it was too old. Maybe a mod can merge em and reactivate the old thread.

It wouldn't let you update a thread that is only five months old? What is this Arfcom?
