Yugo M70 Barrels

I need a new barrel for a milled Yugo M70 Kit. What options are available? I've heard good reviews of the Green Mountain Barrels, I've also heard they are out of spec. I've got an all numbers matching kit that I'd like to build and want a good barrel for it.

I've got an offer of $95.00 for an oem Yugo on another board. I'm aware of the non chrome lined yugo barrels vs the GM barrel being chrome lined. The chrome lining of the GM barrel was one intriguing factor of the Us made GM barrel in case I had corrosive ammo. So should I go Oem or GM for a barrel?

Not sure how the green mountain ones are out of spec. It measured perfectly with my virgin yugo barrel. I ordered mine straight from green mountain...

Those barrels are a total crapshoot(mostly crap). I bought 2 just for laughs. they're both galled to sh** behind the barrel pin. nothin' that cant be filed down, though one is actually halfway decent. the other is a complete sewerpipe. it fails the bullet test so bad, it almost swallows the neck.

I consider myself very lucky to have gotten a usable barrel for $26.

Just a guess but between 1800-2000 thus far considering the amount of ammo I have gone through.
