    You know you want to!!!!!
Chop it down, make an AK length PSL!!

There are 3 kinds of people in this world.
The wise, learn from the mistakes of others.
The smart, learn from their own mistakes.
The others, well......they just never learn.

Are you talking about building one from a flat or from a receiver? If you're thinking about building from a stripped receiver I say skip it. It will cost more and you don't get any of the benefits of building from a flat. Buy a built one and call it a day.

Also, while the PSL is incredibly awesome, there are some hassles associated with them. They only work well with certain types of 7.62x54r, magazines have to be loaded staggered, you'll need a bullet button...

Unless you REALLY want it (which your thread doesn't sound that way) I would say don't do it.

If you know you someday want one, buy a parts kit and put it away.

If you really do want one, buy it complete. it's only a few buck more and you'll get to shoot it right away, and sell it for more than a home build if/when you ever decide to.

                  269.99 for a kit

50 bucks for a BLANK receiver +~14 bucks for the rails

not bad at all. I did myself a favor and bought a complete receiver for 150 from tnguns.com. All i gotta do is rivet everything together and do some fitting

The pricing isn't bad, but I don't believe anyone makes a jig for the flat bending. I think you'd be looking at a fair bit of work.
