How to prep and paint mags.

1. Degrease the mags.. You can use simple green.
2. Sand with 400 grit (anything finer is a NO-no) anything rougher will leave scratches.
3. Once the mag is sanded and wet whipped clean add (adhesion Promoter) I use Bulldog
4. after (2) light coats of the promoter now it's time to add (3 ligh coats of primer) or a design or just paint away.. your choice..

5. Paint.. Duracoat works best as it's a firearm paint (well epoxy) but does require a airbrush and some basic knowledge on how to use and set the PSI, proper mixture, etc) if you don't have these then go the any auto parts store and pick up the following. Try to find (Rust-Oleum)

A. Sandable primer
B. Color of spray-paint you want
C. Matte Clear coat

6. After the mag is painted up, add (3) light coats of clear to protect all of your hard work..

Seems like it might affect the ability of the mag to drop free. Is there enough clearance?
