HELP. threading .308 barrel for flash suppressor

I have a Remington 700 spa tactical (short bull barrel) which I'd like the have threaded if possible to have a break put on the end.

    Can this be done?
Anyone know anyone reputable in the Sacramento/ eldorado hills area?

    Thanks

the lr-308 threads should be 5/8 24 tpi, any reputable machine shop should be able to do this. it takes a little more than having the tap and die set. DPMS may make a adapter for this if you want the adapter.

I can do it for you, if you get down Santa Cruz way. Right now can only do walk-ins. Ability to receive shipments soon.

Had them do work on acouple of mine. Fast turn around, reasonably priced, excellent work. They got my vote.

Don't forget to bring in the brake also. They're closed on Sunday and Mondays.

If you want to cruise up to Auburn, Seesm (member here on CalGuns) can do it for ya also.

If anyone knows for sure I'd greatly appreciate the help. I dant have a precision ruler so I'm stuck...
