Im looking for some help threading my barrel of my AK. It is currently only threaded halfway to the front sight. If you are local to san fernando area and feel like helping me out please let me know.

    Thanks!

its a century ak. but it was used for military training and had a BFA on it (blank firing adapter). the bfa was welded on and cut it off. after it was removed, either half the threaded was covered with weld, or it was not threaded all the way. no way to tell at this point.

i havent actually tried to thread it yet. i am also trying to get the dang front pin out of the front sight base. that way i can use the spring and plunger also.

you up to threading the rest of it for me? that would be cool man!

Thanks for the reply. Looks like you need the proper tools- to include the reverse thread die to match the existing.

thanks guys. Im aware of what I need... however I just want to know if anyone is local to me that can hook up the threading. I dont want to spend so much money on a part that im only going to use once.

Do you know how to use that Die? If you want to, put $20 towards it and I'll do the rest. You can be it's first "renter". lol
