This is what I came up with for an AK, I have a MMG on there now, more comfortable for me.
This is what I did for my AR, same concept but this is off set and attaches dead center and recessed bolts hold it in place.
There are 3 kinds of people in this world.

It attaches in the middle of the grip so I can grip with either hand and still operate the controls. It is offset to the left because I am a right strong side shooter. It's not a "z" offset, it's more of an ogee or elongated "S" offset. I have ambi controls on that gun because it was built as a feature less gun from the start.There are 3 kinds of people in this world.

Experiment all you like. I found that the MMG is the way to go feature less with an AK. I have dumped the fins on all my AK's and only 1 has a pistol grip.
I went with the modded PG on the AR because that thing is just too damn heavy. It's a 20" SS bull barrel and could be used as a boat anchor, but I can squeeze and laugh at 500 yard targets all day.There are 3 kinds of people in this world.
