    FFL required for trigger??

Just tried to order a trigger from brownells and they said savage requires an FFL to order the trigger. Anyone know where i can get a stock trigger for a savage 110 without needing an FFL.

there is no law that requires you to have an FFL to order the trigger. That would be a Savage Corporate policy that they only sell to FFLs, and that if they sell to Brownells, that Brownells only sell it to FFLs.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

Brownells does the same for Remington 700 triggers too. I think (not 100%) Numrich may do the same. I had to send in mine to do a Remington trigger.

Brownells, to me, is overly cautious. The reason some non-FFL parts require an FFL for them to send to, is that they may need fitting to be installed.

Now, most of us know this but not all of Brownell's customers do and I "heard" repeated returns on these type of items spurred this policy long ago.

I'll be honest. I shop at MidwayUSA 15x more often than brownells. I have C&R accounts at both places, and both have almost identical dealer pricing. Midway gets my dollars even with their overpriced shipping policies and backorder mumbo jumbo charges.
